Castelrotto is a municipality in the South Tyrol in the Italian region Trentino-South Tyrol, located about 70 km northeast of Trento and about 20 km northeast of Bozen-Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,166 and an area of 117.8 km.
